Between Midnight and the Rooster's Crow by Nadja Drost (Canada, 2005,
66 min) San Francisco Premiere, Canadian oil giant En Cana is under fire for the
construction of an oil pipeline that has become one of the world's most controversial
mega-projects, faced with mass-opposition in Ecuador, as well as abroad. Follow the journey of a
Canadian filmmaker as she investigates why an oil company is mired in social and
environmental controversy in the Amazon.

4/30: SF Women's Film Festival Animation hosted by Pixar, Osnat Shurer

Zeum Presents... SFWFF Producer Series: Animation Shorts Screening with Pixar's
Osnat Shurer Sunday, April 30, 2-4pm In partnership with the San Francisco Women's
Film Festival (SFWFF), Zeum presents a special screening of animated shorts made by
women animators the world over, including Pixar's Academy Award-Nominated film, One
Man Band . The producer of the film, Osnat Shurer, will be at Zeum to discuss the
film and her earlier work in a special Q & A session with the audience. The screening will
also include the world premiere of a short made by Zeum visitors during SFWFF's clay
animation workshop last month.
